George brings a wealth of international financial services experience to his position of Managing Director and CEO of Guardian Capital Advisors LP. Since joining the parent company, Guardian Capital Group Limited in 2005, he has progressively assumed overall responsibility for the business management of the investment operations at Guardian, including both institutional and private wealth management. In addition to his role with GCA, George also is the Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Capital LP and President of our public parent company, Guardian Capital Group Limited (GCG).

Prior to joining the company, George spent 10 years with JPMorgan Fleming and its predecessor companies. In 2001, he returned to Canada as a Managing Director with JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management where he was a client advisor for both institutional pension clients and third party financial intermediaries based in the US & Canada. Prior to his return to Canada, George was the COO of Fleming Asset Management UK where he spent significant time in both London and New York. Previously, George was founder and CEO of Robert Fleming's securities brokerage and investment businesses in Moscow, Russia.

George began his career at Coopers & Lybrand in their Toronto, Canada offices. He obtained a B.Comm from the University of Toronto. He holds a CA and CFP designation and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Financial Planners Standards Council.
